Kota Kinabalu: Api-Api Assemblywoman Datuk Christina Liew has donated 600 face shields to the Lido Hawkers Association for the use of its members.She made the donation on Sunday during her visit to the ever-popular Lido Market at the Lido Square to give out face shields and calendars to about 200 vendors at the wet market.
Chairman of the Lido Hawkers Association, Lee Seng Wah, received the items on behalf of the association.
“Amidst the growing threat of Covid-19, I am concerned for the well-being of hawkers, vegetable vendors, fishmongers and meat sellers at the Lido Market.
