Kota Kinabalu: Police stopped a burglar in his tracks as he was about to make his getaway after breaking into a double-storey semi-detached house in Taman Aman Lorong Dua, Jalan Kolombong-Lintas, near Iramanis, Wednesday.“My front door was broken but other than that I managed to get back all my belongings, thanks to the swift action by police,” said Chua, the house owner.
The retired bank officer said he stayed in the house with three others. “We left our house about 8am,” he said.
His neighbour, Roger, said he heard the house alarm triggered and immediately alerted the Luyang police station.
