Kota Kinabalu: Sabah’s Covid-19 caseload rose to 281 on Thursday from 277 the day earlier, while one death was recorded in Papar.
Sabah’s Covid-19 spokesperson Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun said all districts in Sabah recorded new infections except for Tongod. Kota Kinabalu topped the list with 68 cases, followed by Penampang (38), Sandakan (31), Tuaran (19), Tawau (18), Putatan (15), Beaufort (14) and Papar (14).
“Districts recording an increase include Penampang (+14), Tawau (+6), Beaufort (+6) and Kunak (+6), while districts recording a decrease include Kota Kinabalu (-16), Lahad Datu (-8), Tawau (-4) and Keningau (-3),” he said Thursday.
He said 276 out of 281 cases were category one and two infections, while one case was recorded in category three and four in category four. 76 per cent were sporadic infections. No new clusters were identified.
