Discipline top priority, athletes told

Kota Kinabalu: The State Malaysian Games (Sukma) bound athletes are reminded that discipline is their top priority when competing at the biennial Games in Kuala Lumpur scheduled to begin from September 16-24.

Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor made the call in his speech delivered by Youth and Sports Minister Datuk Ellron Angin during the State flag handing over ceremony held at Sabah International Conference Centre (SICC) here on Monday.

“I want to remind you that discipline should always be the top priority and it is the most important element during Sukma, because without discipline, the athlete as good as he is will not reach anywhere,” he said
