PAPAR: Local residents here will be able to buy necessities at cheaper prices under the Malaysian Family Cheap Sales programme at Kedai Runcit Domio in Kg Nagapas every weekend, starting this Saturday (Sept 17) and Sunday.

Limbahau Assemblyman Datuk Juil Nuatim said they would enjoy a 20 per cent discount for eight items, namely rice packs, chicken meat, eggs, flour, fish or seafood, coarse sugar, cooking oil and vegetable or fruits.

He said the programme would lessen the financial burden of the people, especially those B40 families and low-income earners.

”I am pleased my constituency has been selected to implement this government programme for the benefit of local residents and hope the  people will not miss this opportunity” he said. Juil, who is also Parti Kesejahteraan Demokratik Masyarakat Deputy President, said this to Daily Express after chairing a meeting with community leaders on the programme at his Limbahau assemblyman office.
