Call for task force
The Lumadan Assemblyman was commenting on the 1,638,806 Malaysians in Sabah able to cast their vote – a whopping increase of 574,120 voters (53.9pc) over the last election four years ago when 1,064,686 were eligible.
Kota Kinabalu: Persatuan Bisaya Bersatu Sabah (PBBS) President Datuk Ruslan Muharam suggested that the State Government set up a special task force to investigate the whopping increase in the number of eligible new voters in Sabah. He said it could be set up under the State Security Council chaired by Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Haji Noor because if allowed to prolong it  has the potential to become a security issue.

“Sabahans were very worried (over the sudden and unusual increase), which is very illogical and puzzling,” he said, Thursday.
