Kota Kinabalu: Attendance were full at most Roman Catholic churches in Sabah on the occasion of Palm Sunday (April 2) which signalled the start of the Holy Week observance.

All scheduled masses were celebrated with “Grand Entrance” in remembrance of Jesus Christ’s entry into Jerusalem, where he willingly faced suffering and death on the Cross. Priests also blessed the palm leaves of devotees.
