SIPITANG: A Perodua Kancil caught fire in Kampung Pantai Lama at 5.08pm Thursday, said Fire and Rescue Station Chief Calvin Joe Jaefery.
The car was 100 per cent destroyed but nobody was involved, he said.
Two police, four Civil Defence Force personnel and 25 villagers are still searching for a missing man with the help of a K9 dog.
The man did not return home for the past four days, he said.
It is believed that the victim went to the forest to look for fruits.
Villagers of Kg Lubok Darat and surrounding villages also joined in the search but failed.
In BEAUFORT, the Fire and Rescue Department received a call to catch a python at the Health Clinic Quarters at 3.17pm on Wednesday.
“Firefighters found the snake inside the house and snared with ease,” said Fire and Rescue Station Chief Muhammad Hasbullah Nenggok.
