O&G crew facility: Chamber queries delay
Wong hoped the service could be sped up for the convenience of O&G workers to boost Labuan’s economy, reminding that the Prime Minister has stated that the development of Labuan is a priority.
LABUAN: The Labuan Chinese Chamber of Commerce questioned the delay in restoring the oil and gas (O&G) crew sign-on/sign-off facility here.Its Chairman Datuk Wong Kii Yii said

“If such a simple issue could not be quickly resolved, how would Labuan be expected to recover from the economic gloom?” said its Chairman Datuk Wong Kii Yii.

Labuan, as an oil and gas hub, has been traditionally providing this service for O&G workers serving in offshore fields.
