Super Come and in-form Pop set for a fight to the wire
KOTA KINABALU: Tambalang will see a busy schedule of five races tomorrow (Sunday) in particular Race 4 Class A merits attention.

This race was re-scheduled from last Sunday due to inclement weather.

Based on recent form, it is likely to be the sheriff in town-designate, youthful Super Come and in-form Pop fighting to the wire.

The authoritative Brilliant One surely has other ideas, and has the guile to keep Super Come at bay.

Cosmobeauté Malaysia and beautyexpo will expand into East Malaysia with the launch of the Cosmobeauté Malaysia Borneo Festival 2026 at the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC) from May 25 to 26.
In the running are other proven and seasoned campaigners Zack and Classic Head. Race 5 Class D on sand-track over 1100 metre will be a ferocious affair.

There is a palpable sense of excitement going into this race, with a quality field comprising Miss Guu, Go Tommy Go, Wawa, The Lady of Light, Bandau and Bolivian Gorgeous. The Lady of Light is worth a closer look.

Go Tommy Go alongside Bolivian Gorgeous cannot be ignored.

Highlight in Singapore this Sunday is yet another instalment in the on-going Class One squabble between Golden Monkey and Super Salute.

Both horses have more than proven their pedigree, worth and consistency with outstanding performances throughout this season.

Their form remains excellent heading to this race although Golden Monkey appears to have the edge, recording two wins and two seconds out of the last six runs. The supporting cast are Gold Star, Kharisma and Sacred Gift.

Fast improving Silent is Gold however may disagree with this assessment. In his last outing on 11 November, he won albeit narrowly against the likes of Gold Star, Kharisma and Golden Monkey.

Racing fans this Sunday can look forward to “live” telecast of Hong Kong, Singapore, and local races at Tambalang Racecourse and R.S.T.C.’s Off-Course centres in Tanjung Aru and Keningau.
