PUTATAN: A feasibility study on the proposed Sembulan-Sepanggar railway project will be conducted within two years, said State Works Minister Datuk Shahelmey Yahya.
"If you look anywhere else in the world, train railways always connect to ports but not for ours in Sepanggar. Trains are not only for daily commute but also for transporting goods.
“This State Railway Department project has the potential to build on the existing railway line connecting Tenom to Sembulan.
“But we first need to do a feasibility study to determine the best route,” he said.
