Kota Kinabalu: A Sabahan was honoured with a "Rising Star" award from the International Federation of Muaythai Associations during the Youth World Championship 2024 in Bangkok, it has been reported.

Eldaniella Mayribel Eldainka, from Papar, proved her mettle by clinching a gold medal for Malaysia after defeating her Russian opponent in a highly anticipated final bout, Sabah First Info reported.

Her victory not only highlighted her potential but also reinforced Malaysia’s growing presence on the global Muaythai stage.
