Kota Kinabalu: Kim Teck Cheong (KTC), a Sabahan-owned listed company, donated 60 cartons of disposable diapers to assist families in need in the state.
This donation, comprising 50 cartons for children and 10 cartons for adults, was handed over to the Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP) Mudanita, led by its Chief Yvonne Yong Yit Phung, and will be distributed through its network.
Yvonne thanked for KTC for their compassion and commitment to supporting the people of Sabah.
“We are deeply thankful for KTC’s generosity. We hope this act of kindness will inspire other Sabahan companies to follow suit in the years to come,” she said.
Founded in the 1910s, KTC has transformed from a small retail business into a leading player in the fast-moving consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry, expanding its reach to Sarawak and Brunei.
Under the leadership of third-generation owner Datuk Dexter Lau, KTC is known for its innovation and commitment to corporate governance, demonstrating good practice among Sabah-based corporations.
