Car plunges into ravine; 5 injured
FIVE people suffered injuries, including three in serious condition, after the vehicle they were travelling in plunged into a deep ravine along the Tambunan-Ranau road.

Tambunan Fire Station Chief Mitchell Francis George said the victims were a man, 21, and two women aged 35 and 55, as well as two 17-year-old boys.

He said the fire station received a distress call at 12.06pm on Monday.

He said the victims had been moved out from the four-wheel-drive vehicle by other road users, who climbed down the 40m-deep ravine to help, as the rescue team arrived at the scene.
