PAPAR: A teenager drowned while swimming with two others at Mondikot Camp Bear in Kampung Kaiduan here on Sunday afternoon.

The Fire and Rescue Department received the emergency call at 4pm and arrived at the scene, 30km away, at 4.55pm.

Initial reports stated that three individuals had been swimming when one went missing, prompting a search-and-rescue operation.

The victim, an 18-year-old male, was later found by members of the public and confirmed dead by health officers at the scene.

Two other individuals were unharmed and taken to hospital.
