TAMBUNAN: The Buaya Tembaga Club continues to strengthen the local golf scene through the organisation of the 2026 Deputy President’s Championship, which saw the participation of 52 players.

The organisation of the second edition this year not only served as a competitive platform, but also as a key avenue to unearth new talent among the younger generation.

More interestingly, the championship offers a golden opportunity for Buaya Tembaga Club members to compete abroad, particularly in a tour series to Indonesia scheduled for next year.

However, he stressed that the intake of new members in the future will be carried out in a controlled manner, as the club prioritises quality over quantity.
