Kota Kinabalu: Sabah keglers returned with two silver and two bronze medals at the Johor Youth Cup Championship concluded at Ampang Superbowl Kluang on Sunday.

The silvers were secured by Dayang Hasya Izz Zayani in the female Under-15 category and Chloe Ho in the female Under-21 category, while the bronze medals from Aisyah Hana in the female Under-12 and Tristen Lee in the male Under-21.

In addition, Ahmad Syahmi and Muhd Zaki also progressed to the third round and finished in sixth place in the male Under-15 and fourth in the male Under-21 respectively.

Despite failing to repeat their success last year, where they won two golds, two silvers and one bronze, Sabah Tenpin Bowling Association president Rozzainny Sham Talip was still pleased with the overall performance of the athletes.

He said to have four athletes qualified for the stepladder finals is still a very proud achievement. He congratulated the whole contingent and praised the parents for their support.
