The venture, named Majestic Quest Sdn Bhd, sees MRCB holding a 70% stake and PMM the remaining 30%.

In a statement yesterday, MCRB also said the proposed hospital will be leased to Putra Specialist Hospital (Melaka) Sdn Bhd.

MRCB said the proposed hospital offers “excellent accessibility” due to its proximity to key landmarks such as the Melaka International Trade Centre and it is near to the Air Keroh toll exit.

It said RM520 million had been allocated for phase one of the project, which will include multi-disciplinary facilities such as cardiac and orthopaedic services, 300 hospital beds and 100 consultant suites.
