Kota Kinabalu: London-based Sabah activist Doris Jones has aborted her plans to return home following the Immigration Department's offer to give her an Emergency Certificate instead of renewing her passport.Jones, who is wanted for sedition, said she was suspicious of the offer and wondered whether her return to Malaysia using that document would result in her being detained without trial. She said an Immigration officer at the Malaysian High Commission in London called her on Oct 2 saying that the Emergency Certificate would only be good for a one-way trip.
