Tawau tsunami warning system working well

Tawau: The tsunami warning siren equipment installed in Al-Kauthar Mosque here is consistent and functioning well, says Tawau Meteorological officer Mohd Nashriq Abd Rahman.He said the department would be inspecting the equipment twice a year to ensure it is functioning properly.Stay up-to-date by following Daily Express’s Telegram channel.

According to him, the Tawau Meteorological Department had installed two tsunami warning systems in Tawau, three in Lahad Datu, two in Semporna and one in Kunak.
