Foetus buried outside house
Kota Kinabalu: Police recovered a four to five-month old foetus that was kept in a plastic container and buried in front of a house at Taman Che Mei in Lido, Penampang, Thursday.The foetus was found wrapped in a bright cloth inside the container in the 1.40pm incident.

A resident known as Chin, 65, went out of her house to take some herbs near her house gate when she noticed the soil near the tree had been disturbed.

She decided to dig and found a plastic container. While trying to open it, the container slipped and the foetus together with clothing fell into the drain. Chin called a neighbour who confirmed it was a foetus.

A team of city police and from Luyang were at the scene.
