Kota Kinabalu: A video clip of a crocodile sighting has surfaced on social media – this time allegedly at Jalan Banting Kibabaig in Penampang.

An official from the Wildlife Department acknowledged receiving the video, but could not establish its authenticity due to lack of information. The 51-second footage showed the creature on a poorly lit path which appeared to be submerged in water. There was no audio in the clip except for a message which accompanied the footage claiming that it was recorded at a shortcut towards SK Kibabaig and the Cultural Hall in Penampang.
