Kota Kinabalu: Mohamad Rafiq Anugerah won the open title in the KDCA Charity Golf tournament held at Dalit Bay Golf and Country Club recently.

He scored 40 points in the stableford competition and in second place was Aldlin Mikhail Mohd Sofian (38) followed by Edmond T.Bainon (38) in third.

The ladies title was won by Lim Ye Fung (36) with Peng Chih Hwa (35) and Puan Sri Genevieve Kitingan (32) coming in second and third place respectively.

The top three places in the VIP category went to Datuk Seri Joachim Gunsalam (37), Datuk Mohd Sofian Alfian Nair (37) and Datuk Lu Kim Yen (36).

A total 128 golfers participated in the event and organising chairman Datuk Willis Ansoi said their main target is to consolidate the registered trustees of the higher secondary education and charitable foundation, as well as to produce bright student through annual excellent student programme, offering financial assistance to Kadazandusun students pursuing specialised course, and needy Kadazandusun students.
