Kota Kinabalu: The 7th Head of State Corporate Charity Cup (HSCCC) golf tournament is set to take place at Sutera Harbour Golf and Country Club on September 6 starting at 7.30am.
The two-day event is held in conjunction with the 71st official birthday celebration of Head of State Tun Juhar Mahiruddin who is also patron of Yayasan Nur Jauhar and Sutera Harbour Marina, Golf and Country Club.
The tournament will see teams of four play under the System 36 handicapping format.
Prizes will be awarded to top three winners in the overall team nett event and the Excellency’s Invitees Trophy (VVIP Individual Category).
The Hole-in-One prizes are Neta V (EV) worth RM105,200 sponsored by Seni Akasia Sdn Bhd, a Taylormade Qi Diamana Blue TM60 JV (24) GP 5-9PS Irons Set worth RM7,600 from MST Golf, cash RM10,000 sponsored by Cahayapack (M) Sdn Bhd and one Sutera Harbour sponsored golf membership.
A gala dinner will be held on the evening of Sept 7 to raise funds for Yayasan Nur Jauhar.
The charitable organisation dedicated to uplifting the underprivileged community in Sabah was founded in 2012 by the Head of State and his consort Toh Puan Norlidah R.M. Jasni in their mission to improve the lives of those in need, regardless of their background, religion or ethnicity.
Their son and chairman of the foundation Brig Gen Datuk Al Hambra Tun Juhar said they have since provided aid to over 1,000 individuals and organisations across Malaysia.
“Proceeds from the fundraising event will contribute to the foundation’s ongoing charitable initiatives, furthering our mission to make a positive impact,” he said.
All companies and organisations are invited to participate by contributing through exclusive HSCCC donation packages that will include participation in the corporate golf tournament and attendance at the gala dinner.
They are available in platinum, gold and silver tiers in addition there will be limited, invitation-only opportunities to compete in the Invitees Trophy (VVIP Individual Category), and to enjoy exclusive access to the TYT’s lounge for lunch.
These exclusive benefits are included with the platinum, gold and silver packages.
