Kota Kinabalu: The Sabah Brunei Community Association organised a “Golf Silaturahim” tournament between the Sabah Brunei Community Association and Brunei Darussalam.
The event at Nexus Karambunai attracted 64 golfers.
It was officiated by Deputy President of the Sabah Brunei Community Association, Datuk Pengiran Saifuddin bin Pengiran Tahir.
The Brunei delegation was led by Haji Aminuddin Mohd Ali, while Hj Abdul Rahman Latip represented the Brunei community in Sabah.
Saifuddin highlighted the success of the event, noting that this was the third time to be held in Sabah.
He commended the team leaders from both Sabah and Brunei Darussalam for their outstanding leadership.
“The purpose of this gathering is to strengthen ties between the Brunei community in Sabah and Brunei Darussalam. I hope future events will continue to foster tiess,” he said.
Aminuddin also expressed his appreciation to those involved and said despite challenging weather conditions, the tournament was a success.
He thanked the committee for organising the event and hoped that the bond between the two States would continue to grow.
