SANDAKAN: Vision School Sandakan’s archery team delivered an impressive performance at the recent MSSD Sandakan Archery Championship here by bringing home two gold and three silver medals.

The gold medals were won by Caleigh Chong Ky Ne in the U-12 Girls Recurve and Caden Yeo Kah Han in the U-15 Boys Recurve, while the silver medallists were Zachariah Lai Ao Jie (U-12 Boys Recurve), Nicholas Yeo Kah Hsien (U-15 Boys Recurve) and Dexter Tsang (U-18 Boys Recurve).

The other archers were Bryan Hiew Jun Hao and Jeazel Yukin (Barebow Open) and Joshua Chong Yao Jet and Crystal Yong Shi Qi (Compound Open).

In total, seven archers have been selected to represent Sandakan at the MSS Sabah Championship in Lahad Datu later this month. 

The school team also included Caleb Marong Julian who experienced his first competitive outing and achieved a top 10 placing in the U-15 Boys category.
