Free medical screening in several Kudat villages July 31-Aug 2

Kudat: Kinabalu Pink Ribbon (KPR) together with Pfizer Malaysia Sdn Bhd, a pharmaceutical company, will be conducting a free medical health screening programme in several villages here from July 31 to August 2.President of KPR, Hjh Natrah Datuk Arif said Care-A-Van, a health van medically equipped for the purpose, will provide free health examination for hypertension, obesity, diabetes and cholesterol, as well as breast self-examination.

"We urge the rural folks, especially those in the high-risk group, to take advantage of this facility for their own good. It is important to find out one's health status before it is too late," she said.

The schedule is as follows:

July 31: 2pm to 4pm at Dewan Kg Gunmatang

Aug 1: 8.30am to 4pm at Dewan Terbuka, Kg Andap Bangau

Aug 2: 8.30am to 12.30pm at Dewan Tigapapan

Aug 2: 2pm to 4pm at Balai raya Kg Labuan Sama
