2,000 attend inaugural Pakatan Sabah Convention

Kota Kinabalu: The inaugural Pakatan Rakyat Sabah Convention here on Friday succeeded in showing that its members in the State are able to work together in true Pakatan Rakyat spirit.Sabah DAP advisor Hiew King Cheu said an estimated 2,000 members from Sabah DAP, Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) and PAS from all over the State attended the convention at the Star City Convention Hall."They came with one single mind - to support the PR Sabah Convention to show their solidarity and working side by side as a team and in true PR spirit. "The event received praise from the national leaders who attended the convention. Among them were the DAP National Advisor Lim Kit Siang, PKR President Datuk Seri Wan Azizah and PAS deputy president Datuk Mohamad Sabu," he said.

Hiew, who is also Kota Kinabalu MP, thanked Organising Chairman Datuk James Ghani on his capable leadership and the hardworking committee members from PKR, PAS and DAP for putting in their hard work to make the function a success. Hiew hoped the strong cooperation would continue to get a great victory for the people in Sabah and Malaysia in the coming general election.
