Beluran: A man was killed in a fire which destroyed a house in Kampung Kobambangan, Paitan, here, on Sunday. The remains of Ritaudin Ghapur, 31, was found following the fire which also damaged a Honda Accord and a Proton Saga Aerobic.Kinabatangan Fire and Rescue Station Chief Rantey Fred said a team was deployed to the area located 195 kilometres away at about 7.42pm.

He said initial findings showed that the deceased was in the house with his family when the fire broke out. "The charred remains was discovered by the family members, however no further information could be obtained as the family had already gone to the hospital by the time our team arrived," he explained.
