Aquatic facilities to get upgrades

Kota Kinabalu: Aquatic facilities and equipment in the Kota Kinabalu Sports Complex and Sandakan Sports Complex may get upgrades following a discussion between Sabah Aquatic Sports Association (Sasa) and the management of Sabah Sports Board on Friday.Sasa committee and coaches led by its President Anthony Kiob paid a visit to the board general manager Penyuki Matta and the main issues raised were upgrading of TouchPad, Scoreboard, wiring, stroke ledge and control room system in Aquatic Centre, Likas Sports Complex; installation of Harness Pull for diving training facilities in Likas Sports Complex; improvement of Sandakan Swimming Pool facilities such as roofing, tiling, changing room and etc and improving dry gym facilities in Likas Sports Complex.

Penyuki gave assurance that the issues will be seriously looked into as it concerns sport development in the State and there is a need to maintain the required standard.
