KOTA KINABALU: The Ruhiang Kiulu Adventure Challenge 2026 has received encouraging support from the local business community as preparations intensify for the event scheduled on March 29 at the Tamparuli Tamu Ground.
Organiser Steve Johnny Mositun, who is also president of the Sabah Labuan Extreme Sports Fan Club, expressed appreciation for an in-kind contribution from a local sports and souvenir company.
He said such support plays an important role in strengthening grassroots sports development initiatives in Sabah, particularly for community-based adventure events like the Ruhiang Kiulu Adventure Challenge.
He added that the support also reflects growing collaboration between local sports organisers and Sabah-based brands as preparations move closer to the event day.
The event has already attracted more than 300 registered participants, with organisers confirming that registration remains open until March 6.
