BEAUFORT: A wedding party travelled to the bride's village aboard a specially chartered train after a church wedding in a celebration that has drawn attention on social media.

Facebook video posted on Friday showed the bride and groom boarding the train with family members and guests before departing for the reception.
According to the narration, the train, chartered by the bride's family, picked up additional guests at Kampung Halogilat before continuing the short journey to the bride's home.
The video also captured scenic views along the route, including the Padas River, as passengers sang and enjoyed the journey.
Upon arrival, the newlyweds and their entourage were welcomed by the beating of gongs before proceeding to the bride's house for the wedding reception.
Many viewers described the train journey as a rare and memorable way to celebrate a traditional village wedding in Sabah.
