PENAMPANG: Former Momogun National Congress (MNC) President Datuk Henrynus Amin said Sabah’s indigenous people need to unite under a collective identity to face the growing demographic and economic challenges.
Speaking at a recent forum of indigenous non-governmental organisations, the Parti Kerjasama Anak Negeri President said the proposed adoption of a “Momogun” identity will strengthen the position of indigenous groups in the State.
“We are at a critical juncture. Without a united front, we risk marginalisation in our own land,” he said.
“Our only path to strength is through unity. We must embrace a collective identity to defend our rights, preserve our culture and secure our future.”
