Call for fair treatment of opposition, Pan Borneo delay
KOTA KINABALU: Sindumin Assemblyman Yusri Pungut called for fairer treatment of opposition representatives, urging the State Government to uphold the Head of State’s call for unity.

He said opposition assemblymen should be included in district-level meetings and given equal access to allocations and government departments, adding that this would reflect the spirit of developing the State beyond political differences.

Yusri also raised concerns over the long-running Pan Borneo project in his constituency, urging stricter oversight of contractors and proper recourse for road users in the event of accidents.

He further sought updates on the degazetted Sipitang forest reserve for village settlements and the RM130 million fund meant to assist former SFI workers and their families.
