SANDAKAN: A long-standing water supply disruption affecting residents of Rancangan Luboh, Phase 6, Mile 12, has been resolved after nearly a decade.

Residents began receiving water supply again last week following completion of repair works and related efforts.

Sungai Manila Assemblyman Datuk Hazem Mubarak Musa said the issue had been raised with him even before he became the elected representative for the area.

He said follow-up action was taken with the Sabah Water Department and Sandakan authorities during a ministerial working visit to Sandakan to ensure the issue, involving a basic daily necessity, was addressed.

The 2026 D-MAX also introduces an 8-speed automatic gearbox with sequential shift across the range, including the Single Cab variant, making it the first pick-up truck in Malaysia to offer an automatic transmission in that body style.
He added that other affected areas, including nearby housing estates, were also considered through short-term measures such as water supply distribution while longer-term solutions were pursued.
