Kota Kinabalu: Sabah marked World Biodiversity Day 2026 on Tuesday with the launch of two new digital systems aimed at strengthening biodiversity governance and protecting traditional knowledge.
The systems are the Sabah Biodiversity Access and Export Licence Application System and the Sabah Traditional Knowledge Information System.
The event was officiated by Sabah Deputy State Secretary (Development) Datuk Dr Ahemad Sade, with Sabah Biodiversity Centre (SaBC) Director Ken Kartina Khamis also in attendance.
