Kuala Lumpur: Amanah Saham Nasional Bhd, the wholly-owned subsidiary of Permodalan Nasional Bhd (PNB), Monday announced 6.70 sen dividend for per unit Amanah Saham Wawasan 2020 (ASW 2020) for the financial year ending Aug 31, 2013.In announcing the dividend, the highest in five years, PNB Chairman Tun Ahmad Sarji Abdul Hamid said the dividend was an increase of 0.10 sen a unit from the dividend declared last year.

"Throughout the financial year ending Aug 30, 2013, the ASW Fun managed to achieve the investment objective although the share market and the world economy were shrouded in uncertainty as a result of the protracted debt crisis in Europe and the change in the United States' economic policy and the sluggish regional economy," he told reporters when announcing the dividend.
