Charity programme in aid of flood victims

Kota Kinabalu: The Sabah Premier League team will engage in a charity programme in aid of the recent flood victims in Beaufort at the Beaufort Multi-purpose Hall 2 tomorrow (Saturday).The programme named #Misikita - "Bantuan Beaufort bah" is organised by Sabah Football Association (Safa) in association with the supporters clubs, Juara Futsal centre and Suria FM.

According to spokesman, Farish Aziz , apart from their assistance in the form of money and food, the players will also be involved in the cleaning up of a school affected by the flood together with the organising chairman Razak Sulaiman, who is also Safa Supreme Council member.

He said although they have received positive response from various parties, they are still opening their door for the good cause and he urged those who wish to contribute in the form of food or clothing to approach Juara Futsal in Kampung Ketiau or contact DJ (016-8800717) and Likas Stadium or contact Adzhar (019-5353514).

He added that those who want to donate money can do so by attending a charity match between Sabah Legends which will feature former greats such as Milomir Seslija, Justin Ganai, Bobby Chua among others and Cebagoo FC at the Likas Stadium today (Friday) at 7.30pm.

Meanwhile, the fan clubs that are involved in the programme are Sabah Diehard, Sabah Rhinos.Com, North Borneo Ultras, Quilmes, The twelfth player and Badak Dulu Kini dan Selamanya Fans.
