Improve knowledge on digital tech and artificial intelligence, grads told

Kota Kinabalu: With technology advancing rapidly in the age of digital transformation, graduates need to constantly improve their knowledge and skills to reap the immense benefits of the latest innovations, such as artificial intelligence (A.I).

The CEO of Yayasan Sabah College of Technology (KTYS), Datuk Hajah Tah Nia Haji Jaman, said digital technology and AI are important tools for making learning more effective and interesting, while creating a more interactive learning environment for students .

“It is imperative that we move forward with the changing times, where innovations such as artificial intelligence are swiftly bringing revolutionary changes to academic institutions, which augurs immense benefits for students as well as equipping educators with more innovative approaches,”she said. 

Speaking at the KTYS Dean Awards Ceremony 2023/2024 and Academia Day Celebration, Tah Nia extended her congratulatory wishes to 136 students who received their awards for achieving 3.67 GPA (grade point average) and above.
