SEREMBAN: The husband of an actress pleaded not guilty in the Sessions Court here on Wednesday to a charge of cheating a man of RM270,811 over a non-existent alienated state land last year.

According to the charge, Mohd Apri Hazreen was alleged to have deceived the 56-year-old victim into transferring RM270,811 into the bank account of a 35-year-old woman at a bank here between April 2 and Nov 12, 2025.

The payment was purportedly for a non-existent alienated land in Selangor, an amount the victim would not have surrendered had he not been deceived.
