Climate change: Tun Mustapha Park vulnerable

KOTA MARUDU: Sabah’s Taman Tun Mustapha (TTM), or Tun Mustapha Par, was identified as an area likely to be exposed to climate change, where majority of the population in TTM depends on marine resources.

Student Empowerment in Climate Action (Seca) programme’s Dr Lee Soon Loong said this during the programme participated by 130 secondary school students held at SMK Tandek hall, here, recently.,

He said such event contributes to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) in Sabah.

The SDGs are global goals set by the United Nations in 2015 as a joint action plan to ensure peace and prosperity for people and the planet, now and into the future.
