Kota Kinabalu: The younger generation must ensure Sabah’s natural wonders are protected for posterity, said Sabah Parks Board of Trustees Chairman, Peter Lintar.
“The voice of the youth is a powerful driving force for inspiring positive and sustainable change in the collective commitment to protect the environment,” he said.
Officiating the Young Rangers Virtual Tour of Sabah Parks, Peter urged parents and families to take the opportunity to register their children as Young Rangers to join the effort to build a better world in harmony with nature.
He noted that the Young Rangers programme is designed to cultivate a passion for the environment and empower students to serve as ambassadors of Sabah Parks, raising awareness on the importance of protecting the state’s natural wonders and biodiversity.
