Kota Kinabalu: An oil and gas (O&G) onboarding workshop was conducted to increase the participation of Sabah companies in the industry.
The one-day workshop was jointly organised by the Sabah Oil and Gas Services Council (SOGSC), with the Sabah Young Business and Industry Leaders (SYBIL) group.

The workshop provided a valuable platform for over 150 participants from various sectors to engage in industry giants such as Petronas, SMJ Energy Sdn Bhd, Shell and Syarikat Operasi Petroleum Kebabangan Sdn Bhd (KPOC).
It aimed to equip Sabah's non-oil and gas services and equipment companies with critical industry knowledge.
The 2026 D-MAX also introduces an 8-speed automatic gearbox with sequential shift across the range, including the Single Cab variant, making it the first pick-up truck in Malaysia to offer an automatic transmission in that body style.
The opening ceremony of the workshop was completed by the Senior Private Secretary to the Chief Minister of Sabah, Datuk Ceaser Mandela Malakun.
