Kota Kinabalu: Sabah's civil service has been urged to accelerate project delivery, strengthen governance and reduce bureaucracy as part of efforts to ensure the successful implementation of the Sabah Maju Jaya (SMJ) 2.0 development agenda.
Speaking at the launch of the Sankalpa Sabah 2030: Strategic Implementation Forum for SMJ 2.0, State Secretary Datuk Zainudin Aman said ministries and departments should adopt the Review, Keep and Boost (RKB) approach, integrate artificial intelligence into work processes and align their strategic plans and key performance indicators with the State's development blueprint.
He said SMJ 2.0 was more than a development plan, describing it as a shared commitment by the State civil service to ensure every policy was translated into action, every action produced measurable impact and every outcome improved the wellbeing of Sabahans.
