Kota Kinabalu: The Malaysian Chinese Tourism Association (MCTA) Sabah Chapter is proud to announce the return of the MITM Travel Fair 2026, taking place from 8th & 9th August 2026 at the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC), Kota Kinabalu.
Whether planning a holiday close to home or overseas, visitors will discover a comprehensive range of travel options tailored to every type of traveller.
Featured promotions include cruise holidays, the increasingly popular Hainan Island & Guilin destinations, specially curated Muslim-friendly travel packages, domestic and inbound tourism packages showcasing the beauty of Sabah and Malaysia, as well as exclusive local hotel staycation deals for families and weekend getaways.
Visitors can also explore the Sabah Tourism Board Sabah Pavilion, where local tourism operators will showcase Sabah’s diverse attractions, nature experiences, island escapes, cultural heritage, adventure tourism and community-based tourism products.
The pavilion aims to inspire both local residents and visitors to discover more of what Sabah has to offer.
In support of the Visit Malaysia Year campaign, the Tourism Malaysia Pavilion will also be featured at the fair, highlighting tourism products and destinations from across the country while encouraging both domestic and international travel throughout Malaysia.
The fair will also feature outbound travel packages to popular destinations across Asia, the Middle East, Europe and beyond, alongside attractive airfare promotions and holiday packages offered by participating travel agencies.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to meet representatives from Royal Brunei Airlines and AirBorneo, who will be showcasing their latest routes, services and exclusive travel promotions available during the fair.
Adding to the excitement, MITM Travel Fair 2026 is designed to be a family-friendly event. Parents can browse exclusive travel deals with peace of mind while their children participate in the LEGO Experience Workshop and enjoy the Hot Wheels Racing Track Experience, offering fun, creativity and interactive entertainment throughout the event.
One of the major highlights of this year’s fair is the Grand Lucky Draw, featuring prizes worth over RM100,000, including flight tickets, hotel accommodation vouchers, travel packages, cruise holidays, shopping vouchers and many other exciting rewards.
