Kota Kinabalu: Cho Han Ji captured the men’s gross title at the Sutera Harbour Marina, Golf and Country Club’s (SHMGCC) July Monthly Medal competition on Saturday.
His impressive score of 74 managed to secure first place, edging out Frank Maiks, who finished just three shots behind, while in third spot was Aaron Pong with 78.
In the nett event, title A went to Muhd Adam Alif (66) and in second place was Shaiful Batong (69) with Mohd Hassanel Jarai (70) in third.
Title B winner was Dato Kelvin You (64) followed by Jafarudin Ajamain (67) and Datuk Vincent Pung (71), while the top three positions in category C went to Dr Redvin (62), Allen Law (66) and Chean Tow Hoi (66).
Former State Secretary Datuk Safar Untong (68) was the senior winner with Datuk Rosmadi Sulai (71) and Wang Fali (73) in second and third place respectively, while the super senior title was won by Lee Il Ku (66) followed by Tsai San Jia (70) and Datuk Nurnikman (71)
In the ladies’ category, Mari Song (86) was the gross winner followed by Julia Rasudin (87) and Mimi Kim Mi Jung (92).
The nett title went to Jessie Kurniawaty (63) with Rebecca Bernard (66) in second place and Amirah Rekey (71) in third, while the top three winners in the senior category were Tina Koh (71), Sofea Won Kyeong Seon (71) and Lea Kim Sun Ae (75).
Meanwhile, Sheyenne Yu (65) took the junior title, beating Muhd Harith Haitollah (72) and Bert Chean (72).
