Firm eyes sustainable waste management via a world-pioneer system

Kota Kinabalu: A local company is aiming for sustainable development waste management through the innovation and development of the world's first black soldier flies (BSF) breeding system.
With the BSF Automation Breeding System,Global Cerah Sdn Bhd (Innaprime Group) hoped to address massive amounts of harmful agricultural waste, the usage of inorganic fertilisers and feed meals, and inefficient waste management.

The company's Director-cum-Financial Controller Willie Ng said they have embarked on the agri-technology system focused on integrating waste management and production of alternative protein sources through sustainable solutions to preserve the future food ecosystem.
It is an integrated solution to treat agricultural wastes, production of BSF which have high quality and are rich in protein as feed or fertilisers, and automation of the integrated system.
