SINGAPORE: A 51-year-old former teacher was jailed on Tuesday after being caught filming men in a public toilet at MacRitchie Reservoir,
Channel News Asia (CNA) reported.
He was spotted by a runner who noticed him recording men showering and quickly alerted the police while discreetly following him.
The offender, Woo Weng Chuan (

Officers later found multiple videos on his phone and electronic devices, including recordings taken in gym locker rooms and sauna changing areas over several years.
The prosecution argued that the scale of the recordings was significant, while his lawyer asked for a shorter sentence, citing his admission and cooperation during investigations.
Woo was sentenced to five months and five weeks in jail, with the court allowing him to begin his term in September.

The Ministry of Education confirmed he has been interdicted since 2022 and emphasised that disciplinary action, including dismissal, applies to any staff who breach professional conduct.
