Kota Kinabalu: The Sabah Road Transport Department (JPJ) has opened service counters every Saturday and Sunday for four consecutive weeks to assist vehicle owners seeking to update ownership records to qualify for benefits under the Budi Diesel programme.

He said JPJ is assisting nominees and vehicle owners who need to update ownership information to enable them to enjoy the benefits provided by the Government through the Budi Diesel programme.
“JPJ has opened service counters on Saturdays and Sundays for four consecutive weeks. We are assisting in vehicle ownership transfer matters and related processes so that eligible individuals can obtain Budi Diesel benefits.
“This is to ensure this process and the Government’s initiative can be implemented smoothly,” he said.
Mohd Harris said the facility is available at all JPJ offices throughout Sabah, including the state headquarters, branch offices and three at Urban Transformation Centres (UTCs).
The Budi Diesel programme is a Government initiative aimed at providing targeted diesel subsidies to eligible recipients, including private diesel vehicle owners who meet the stipulated requirements.
