Kota Kinabalu: A 27-year-old man was charged with committing sexual physical harassment against his stepdaughter.
The man pleaded not guilty before Sessions Court Judge Amir Shah Amir Hassan to the charge against him.

The man is accused of committing the offence against the 11-year-old girl by fondling her breasts and private parts at a rented room in Inanam at 9.30am on June 30.
The offence under Section 14 (a) of the Sexual Offences Against Children Act 2017 carries a jail term of up to 20 years and whipping, on conviction.
The court set Aug 12 for pre-trial case management and released the man on bail of RM6,000 in two local sureties.
Apart from that, the court also ordered the man to report to Manggatal police station every first day of the month and to surrender his passport to court, if any.
He was also reminded not to disturb the alleged victim and to move to another house if he still lives under the same roof with the alleged victim.
Deputy public prosecutor Nurul Shafeerah Mad Iskim appeared for the prosecution while the man was represented by counsel Syed Anwar Sh Abdullah.
